We understand your privacy concerns-you can never be too safe! I can assure you that the privacy and security of your data is a top priority at Momentum. So hopefully my fears were unfounded and Momentum will not ever ask me for permission. I installed it, got no prompts for additional permissions, and the button to edit sites that Momentum has access to is disabled and says there "you have not allowed this extension on any websites yet". But so far, it does NOT seem to be an issue. I was disappointed since I left Chrome for privacy reasons and missed Momentum.
When I installed the extension it warned me that it MAY ask for additional permission to view browser history/contents and the extension "MAY require" it to operate.
